From inside VetCheck
- Open VetCheck on your phone
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap Delete my account
- Confirm
Deletion is queued immediately and completes within 30 days.
If you can't open the app
Lost your phone, uninstalled already, or just prefer the web? Use the form below. We'll send a confirmation email to the address on the account before any data is touched.

- Your account — email, sign-in credentials, display name.
- All pet profiles — names, photos, health histories, vaccinations, medications.
- Every assessment you've ever run, including symptoms, AI reads, written summaries, and your free-text notes.
- Follow-up check-ins and reminder schedules.
- Saved vet contacts and your preferences.
- Any PDF reports generated and stored in your account.
How fast it actually happens
- Immediately: your account is disabled — you can no longer sign in, and your data is no longer visible anywhere in the app.
- Within 30 days: all personal data is purged from production systems.
- Within 90 days: all personal data is purged from encrypted backups.
- Indefinitely retained: only anonymous aggregate usage analytics (e.g. "how many users completed an assessment in May") with no link back to you. Toggleable; if you'd opted out, nothing remains.
What we may need to keep, briefly
Some records have legal retention requirements we cannot waive:
- Payment receipts if you ever bought Premium — kept for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years), as required by Turkish law. These contain no health data, only the transaction.
- Fraud and abuse signals, anonymized, for the time needed to keep the platform safe.
Everything else: gone.
01 Submit a deletion request
Fill in the email associated with your VetCheck account. We'll send a confirmation link there; once you click it, the queue starts.
02 After you delete
- You can sign up again any time with the same email — it'll be a fresh start, no old data restored.
- If you also want to cancel Premium, do that separately in App Store / Play Store → Subscriptions. Deleting your VetCheck account does not cancel store subscriptions automatically.
- If you change your mind before the deletion runs (within 7 days of confirmation), email privacy@vetcheck.app from the same address and we'll cancel the request.
